Swimming Lessons - Shawnee, KS

Like Robin, we are signed up for classes at the Bonner Springs YMCA. We are not members so the class was about $80. They have classes for all ages. Our session starts this Saturday.

I live in Lenexa, lessons in comunity pools are great! They are not expensive and works, my 7 year old daughter has taken lessons there since about 2 1/2 until last year and she is an accomplished swimmer now, I upgraded to the Lazers now!
We will see how she does this year with a competitive team.

I don't know about anything in Shawnee however, the new Lifetime fitness (in Overland Park) has several options for lessons. My son and I will be going on Tues-Thursday, for a 4 week class.

Hi! I take my two and half year old to swimming lessons at the pool in merriam. we love it and the class sizes are very small and you gets lots of help from the instructors.

We have taken lessons at the Mission Community Center (Sylvester Powell) the past 2 years. We have really enjoyed it. I think it costs about $45 for a 2 week session.

My son is just under 1 year and we just completed swim lessons at the Bonner Springs YMCA. Its a new facility and he really enjoyed it. You do not have to be a member to take lessons.

Turner Aquatic Center has Red Cross Swiming lessons for all ages and the best part is that they are only $18.00. My son is 4 and has been taking lessons there for 2 years the phone number is ###-###-#### it is very close to Shawnee.
