In reading some of the other responses, your daughter is only 3 months old and is not going to understand being told no and is not going to put 2 and 2 together and know that she is being taken away from the nipple because she is biting, and just because she is chomping doesn't necessarily mean she isn't hungry anymore. My son is almost 8 months, only has 2 teeth and is on the bottle now, but he chomps on the nipple of the bottle, then drinks, then chomps, then drinks and so on. It's not only the nipple of the bottle, he also chomps on his toys. It's just something that babies do when they are teething and they will stop when they are ready to. This is going to sound really stupid but my BFF tried it recently and it worked for her. If you've ever pumped breast milk you've seen how easily it comes out. Get one of those big Playtex bottle nipples and place it over your nipple during her feedings. That way when she chomps, the rubber of the nipple is soothing to her gums and it doesn't hurt your nipples because her teeth aren't directly on there. If that doesn't work you could always just pump and then feed her breast milk from a bottle. I know how special and bonding nursing is, I only stopped because my milk dried up for some reason, but the most important thing is that she gets the nutrients from breast milk. Hope this helps. Best of luck!
