If you can wait until March, the Ft. Worth Just Between Friends consignment sale is the first week of the month. You will find a selection of the gently used items you are looking for. If you consign or volunteer you can shop even earlier for the best deals. Go to www.jbfsale.com and click on the Ft. Worth sale. I am so addicted to consigning & shopping this thing!

If you can't wait, try Kid to Kid, the Goodwill, Freecycle and Craigslist.

I know Just Between is coming up the first week or two in March. The Fort Worth one is huge, there are many others in the DFW area. Most of their things are used, however some are new. Pretty good prices, worth a try.

If you need it now, check out Kid to Kid or Mudpuppy (Fort Worth on Hulen) or Once Upon a Child. You could also check out the newspaper for the rocking chair- under furniture or baby items in the classifieds and also online in the classifieds for Dallas and Fort Worth newspapers. Check out the grocery stores there are Greensheets-small free newspapers that advertise things for sale.

Try once upon a child on Davis Blvd across from the Walmart and Target - they have gently used items and are very inexpensive.

I'm not sure how soon you are needing these items, but Just Between Friends is having their semi-annual consignment sale in March. They have great used items, including clothing for kids. You can go to their website and get more information.

I love the random finds on www.freecycle.org! You can place an email for items wanted, and you may find just what you need for free. Etiquette says that you must offer something first though... I got rid of an extra suitcase this way.

Have you ever tried Kid-to-Kid? I go there for almost everything I need for my son. They are great!

I also have to recommend JBF sale (Just Between Friends). I get almost everything I need for my boys there, and they will definitely have the items you are looking for. The Fort Worth sale is coming up in early March if you can wait that long, but as others have mentioned, they have them all over the metroplex.

Craigslist,Kid to Kid, and resale shops are good. I love Craigslist.

I have a Shermag glider and ottoman that I am no longer using. I have 2 boys and we are done! The upholstry is a neutral color (creamy beige) and has no stains or tears. It literally looks brand new. Try the consignment sale that's coming up in Febuary. You can get gently used items for a great bargain.
