Welcome aboard . I also moved over here in March and have a three year old . We also don't have any friends and family over here and have been trying to form a playbgroup in order for him to have some social interactions with kids,Unfortunatley we have had no luck , so far that is !We would definitively be interested in starting a playgroup. let me know .

I am also a stay at home mama and have a 3.5 yr. old son. He goes to a mother's day out program on Tues and Thurs from 9-2, but other than that, we are always looking for something to do. I have been interested in finding a playgroup to be a part of for a long time, as most all of my friends live out of town and are single and childless...Looking for other mamas to form friendships with and some friends for my son, who also needs alot of practice in socializing.

Hi K., I moved to this area last month and I have a 4 year old who just started Pre-K. You may want to consider Pre-K next year because they extended it for military children. My husband is army and I work over at BAMC. My son is also lacking in the social skills area. I placed him in daycare but he didn't do so well for 12 hours a day. I work 3 days a week and will be more than happy in starting a playgroup.
I am in the process of starting one as we speak!!!!
i would love to go to a playgroup! My daughter is only 1 years oid though. It would be nice for her to play with other kids.
