P.M.
Open windows are my favorite air freshener. Artificial smells and "fresheners" that other people apparently find pleasant do make me miserably ill, and to my nose, most of them truly "stink." There's a chemical component that I find repellent.
Added: Thanks for trying to bring this widespread problem into the public consciousness. I have been trying to make this problem known for the 25 years or so that I've been suffering from chemical sensitivities. There is a great deal of advertising, and profit, pushing chenically-scented products and trying to convince the public that life is sweeter with their toxins.
