I want to start watching one child about 2 or 3 years old in my home on the weekends for extra money. I was thinking that I should charge $30 per day but I really don't know. If anyone has any suggestions it would be really helpful. Thank you.

WOW! That's pretty good. I pay our babysitters $10/hr no matter how many hrs they are here.
$30.00 is good, but you could probably charge $5 or $10 an hour more since it is the weekend.
Sounds like a reasonable rate to me. I charge $30 a day during the week. You could probably charge $50 a day on the weekend. Go with your gut instinct. Good luck.
