Where to Buy Comforter for California King

I have a pillowtop California King bed and want a new comforter set. I saw some nice ones with good reviews on Walmart.com but only a few were California King. Does anyone know if a regular King would fit these okay? Also, what other stores sell California King sizes?

What can I do next?

i think jC penney does also, and Kohls online does as well... they have pretty ones... try Bed bath and beyond too... BUT, some of theirs come with cheap sheets.. so look out for that!

Linens & Things and Bed Bath & Beyond carry Cal King. Watch the sales. I recently got a king set by Nate Burkus for 75% off!

J.,
Try Kohl's. We got ours there. As for a regular King, no it won't fit right. It's too short and it looks weird on the bed. Good luck.

Warch QVC I saw one I would love to have and the price was so reasonable. I wish I had the money. They were overstuffed, about $14 a piece and only $149 for a 10 piece set. G. W.

No, a regular king size won't fit. A CA King is a lot longer than a regular king. Try Bed, Bath, & Beyond. We got ours there. Also, you could try Linens N Things. Good luck!

No, a regular king will not fit a CAL king because the size of the mattress is different. Also, with a pillow top you often will run into the comforter not being quite large enough so look for "Oversized" or measurements that are a bit larger. I don't know what style you are looking for, but I have found JCPenney.com to be one of the best resources for unusual sizes, specialty items, etc. Their prices are good and you can make online returns to any store. Happy shopping.

Check Tuesday Morning. They periodically have California King sheets/comforters. Regular Kings will not fit a california king. It is a different size.

Good Luck!

If you like some of the ones on Wal-Mart's website, you may want to check Target as well. I bought a quilt there a few months ago for my king size bed. The label on the quilt said King size, but it seems more like a California King to me. It is narrower than necessary to cover my bed and drop down enough on each side, but it is soooo long. It is pulled up to the edge of the mattress at the top, and it nearly touches the floor at the foot of the bed.

I have a pillow top Queen bed, and the mattress is huge, I actually had to buy King size sheets to fit the bed. I've had great luck with smartbargins.com, plus they give you customer reviews, and they deliver fast. Good Luck!! You can also check bed bath and beyond, but they can be pricey. Sometimes belive it or not Garden Ridge has comfortor sets
