Contact your county health department. They are the ones distributing the H1N1 shot and are the ones setting up places for people to be immunized.
Many places like CVS, Walgreens, Target have pharmacists that are certified to administer vaccinations. I've certainly seen them being adverstised. I don't know if they have a lower age limit and availability seems to be scarce all over. good luck.
I'm in the same boat. Our pediatrician's office gave a list of some CVS and Walgreen's with clinics that are administering to little ones. You just have to call them in advance to find out the age limits as some do administer to under 6 years of age and some do not. I actually asked at the clinic inside the HEB near my house and they do administer the flumist from 2 years up. So if you don't want to wait for the pedi then call around. This will be the route we will be taking. Good Luck!
I have talked to parents that not only give the vaccine to their children but they do it themselves as well. They say what good is it to protect my child if I the mom is not protected. So they end up all getting it!!You should check with your regular General Doctor and ask him/her about it.
I still wonder if it really works, it is so new , I am actually scared of the possible permanent damages it may cause, but respect your decision.!!!
