So What Happened?

Sorry if I came off as 'forced,' not my intent to be sure! Actually, I wanted to share with members of the community just that: their favorite thing about being a mom. I am one, too. My favorite thing about being a mom right now is that I get to relive the high school years vicariously through them. High school at a distance is a much safer way to go about it.

Seems you are looking for a "big" answer. I just have a small one.

Today my teen, after a few semi rough/emotional teen days, popped on the Facebook chat with me on her half class break at school, and just said "Hey Mom...I love you, ya know....."

Its more than enough to get me through the dry spells......

Meaning NO disrespect...BUT

I find your questions are a bit 'forced'...

I can only assume you work at/for mamapedia...

But your questions feel...to me...sort of like a college student doing research??

Or 'fodder' for the home page?

I sent a private message...and await a response...

Just had to share my thoughts.

And...on to your question...

I have enjoyed everything about being a mom...truly.

It has molded me into a better person than I ever thought possible. My kiddos have taught me FAR more lessons than I have taught them.

I am blessed

Are you doing something with the answers?

Giving our children a piece of a better me. Having them just makes me want to do and be a better person so I try and teach them the important things in life that I had to learn the hard way. My favorite part is when I SEE that they have listened and life rewards them for it.

I never knew it was possible to love someone as much as I love my child.

Being able to watch my son's personality grow, and seeing my husband's best qualities in him, along with some of my own. Watching him grow, laugh and learn new things everyday is what makes me feel like I am doing a good job as his Mom.

I found I am very good and playing pretend with my 4 year old! My favorite part though is when she says "Be Mommy now" and then gives me a kiss and tells me she loves me, and then says "Okay pretend again" like the game never stopped. There are just so many little moments everyday where she just lights up my life!

My favorite thing about being a mom is the sense of purose and direction it gives me. There is a great satisfaction knowing that I am needed, that I am good at something, that I am fufilling my Godly purpose, and that I am loved unconditionally.
