Extended Nursing and Weaning

My son will be 18 months old in a couple of weeks and is still nursing. He is VERY attached to nursing. I've gotten it down mostly to first thing in the morning, before his nap and before bedtime. My husband has been very supportive but thinks that 18 months is long enough. I was hoping my son would wean himself but that's not been the case. I am torn. Part of me wants to continue as he may be my only child (by choice) and I will miss the bonding, but the other part of me wants to diet and take supplements and do some of the other...

Weight Watchers While Breastfeeding?

Hi, my baby is 5 months old and I want to lose that last 10 pounds but I want to keep breastfeeding until she is a year old. Last month, I tried Weight Watchers on the "points" plan, and my milk pretty much dried up after 3 weeks of the plan (I only lost 3 pounds). It took 2 weeks to get my supply back up. I didn't do anything drastic, but I exercised 4 days a week and rarely dipped into the extra weekly points. Any pointers on how to successfully do Weight Watchers without reducing the milk? Should I just diet and not exercise or vice...

Weight Watchers and Breast Feeding

Hi...I just had my 3rd baby and am 30 pounds overweight. I currently weigh 180 pounds and was 170 when I got pregnant. I was wondering if anyone tried weight watchers while they were breast feeding? If so, I am wondering how many points I am allowed for my current weight and the fact that I am breast feeding. I am hoping that there is something that I can do to lose some of this weight now b/c I do not feel, or for that fact, look good. If anyone could let me know the point allowed while breastfeeding for someone who weighs 180lbs I would...

Pregnancy and Weight Watchers

Hey guys, I'm so excited!! I found out I am pregnant. But I'm keeping it on the down low from everyone because I miscarried last time and just want to play it safe again this time. Last pregancy I miscarried in the middle of my 10th week. At that point I had already gained 12 lbs. I did have an out of whack thyroid problem that has been delt with since then so I'm pretty sure that did not help the situation with weight, however, I did go to town with eating. I had been on weight watchers for 2 years at that point and so sick...
