Hand Foot Mouth

Hi Ladies, My son (21 months) has been spiking a temp and developed a rash all over and sores in his mouth. He's miserable. So, I took him to the doctor today and he said he has 'hand foot mouth'. I guess my silent excitement that both my kiddos have avoided this is now gone. Any words of advice anyone can offer. The doctor said no meds will take care of it, we just have to manage the symptoms. Tylenol, Motrin and a combo of Benadryl & Malox. Just looking for some'we've been there' support. Thanks in advance!

Calling all mama's advice..... I have a 2 year old little boy that has broken out in what his ped believes is a yeast infection. About 2 weeks ago he had a small raised red spot, we kept butt paste, desitin on it with every change. Suddenly last week he got small bumps above his genitalia and with in 3 days it spread down to his knees. We took him to urgent care last friday where they said it looked like yeast and gave us Nystatin cream 3 times a day and let the air get to him ofcourse. It looked very slightly better after 2 days but...

Hand Foot Mouth Tips

UPDATE: We're all finally doing better. I think the trick is to be patient, give a lot of TLC, soft foods, and luke warm beverages. Neosporin worked well on the popped blisters between the toes, tylenol and motrin helped take the edge off, baths relaxed him, and keeping things dried out helped. Time helped heal the most. Stay away from others!!!! Thanks again for all your advice!! My 2 year old son has a bad case of Hand Foot Mouth disease. He has sores and blisters all over his throat, mouth, lips, face, ears, legs, feet, hands...

Spots on My Daughter

Hey everyone, my daugher has spots on her that appeared from nowhere. There are probally ten of them total. Going from memory, there are 3 on each of her sides, 2 or 3 on belly, and 1 just below her underwear line. I have no idea what they are? They are slighly raised and kinda look like pimples, but there dosen't seem to be anything in it. She dosen't itch. No fever. Same ole happy go lucky. And before you guess, no, not chicken pox, she's been vaccinated, and they don't look like chicken pox plus they don't itch. It's not measles or...
