Air Travel Security

Hello Moms! Could you give me an idea of what I can bring on the plane in regards to juice and food? I have a one year old who is still nursing/bottle feeding with formula. I thought I could make up bottles and have the Flight Attendant put in warm water. What about juice, applesauce, etc... Thanks!

HELP!! My 8 Month Old Baby Has Diaper Rash So Bad I Can See Some Red Skin!!!!

I'm feeling so bad :( Since yesterday she has had severe mucusy diarrhea and she only vomited once uptil now. She cries in pain every time she pooped and everytime i changed her diaper right after she pooped I could see her diaper rash growing. I kept putting Desitin and also I have Up and Up diaper rash cream. Today I met with her Pediatrician and he said to only give her Pedialyte (no milk or solid foods) until her diarrhea stops . to wait for 6 to 8 hours. My father in law and husband insisted i give her just a little formula...

Similac Advance - Formula Question

Since our baby was born, she was breastfed, but needed a supplement. We continued using the formula we started on in the hospital - Similac Advance. She has been doing great with the 'ready to go' kind, getting less than 8 oz. a day supplement. I recently bought the Similac Advance 'Early Shield' variety. She has had non stop gas - starting 5 min. after she ate! I hate to think her little tummy is hurting because of it! Obviously I am not giving it to her again...but I am wondering if other moms out there had a similar experience? ...

Does Cow's Milk Affect Behavior?

Does anyone have experience with cow's milk affecting behavior? I have two year old twins and and 9 month old. When they were babies they had inexplicable rashes. This occurred after I supplemented with formula at about 6 months. My 9 month old now has a rash which coincides with switching from breastfeeding to formula(they look like heat rashes). I switched from milk to almond milk for my twins and I swear their behavior has dramatically improved. Could this be a coincidence since they are almost three and have finally adjusted to a new...

What are you substituting in place of Similac during this recall? My 9 month old does not like Enfamil and I'm worried about switching to another formula because he has a very sensitive tummy. Thanks, in advance, for your advice!

Constipation in 3 Month Old

I am looking for any suggestions to try for my constipated 3 month old son. For the past couple of weeks I have been slowly switching my son from breastmilk to formula. It seems like as long as he was getting at least 1 breastmilk bottle a day he was fine but now he is not having a BM for days at a time. You can tell as the days pass he gets more uncomfortable. I had the same problem with my 2 year old at that age and the only thing that worked for her was giving her BabyLax to make her go. I have spoken to his dr. about it and she told...

Almost 5 Month Old on Zyrtec and Pulmicort

My baby is normally a happy child. She has been wheezing a bit so they put her on both meds. I guess it is just the season, I had to hit my own inhaler yesterday. But five months old is still so young, especially with the Pediatrician saying they don't normally diagnose asthma til about 9 months. The zyrtec seems to burn her throat, so i've taken to mixing it with a teaspoon or so full of milk. She has only had two days worth of the pulmicort. She fought like a trooper yesterday with that mask on, so today i tried propping her up...

Infant 5 Month Old Daughter Has Slow Weight Gain

My daughter was a little less than 6lb when she was born so she always has been a little baby and in all her checkups have been at the 25th percentile. This was ok until her recent vist at the doctor at 5 months when she dropped to 15 percentile. The doctor thinks she will catch-up but as a mom I want to do all I can to get my baby the 'baby fat' which is so adorable on babies. She is on formula and has only about 25 ounces per day. I had started her on cereal frequently mixing it with some baby food like green veggies or banana in the...
