13 Month Old Walking

I have a 13 month old that is not walking yet. He is cruising, but not walking. I am not concerned at this point. I know kids do things in their own time. However, I have heard that they learn to walk better without shoes. BUT, then the other day, I heard it the opposite (that they learn to walk better with shoes). Does anyone truly know? PS- We have tried it all...shoes, no shoes, Robeez, walking toys. Just wonder what I should do the most. :) PSS- As I said above, I am NOT worried about it. I just find it interesting to...

When Did Your Baby Start Walking Unassisted?

Also when did you move on from either bare foot/pre-walking shoes to the walking shoes? My 7 month old son is walking constantly now with assistance from my hands or walker, he doesn't crawl and doesn't want to crawl but loves to walk. I feel that it's just a matter of time now but he's still kind of young.
