I have had 2 abnormal pap smears in past 6 years. They have both came back with pre-cancerous cells. I had the Laser surgery the first time and went on to have a beautiful little boy with minor complications. Since having him, I have had another abnormal pap and it too was precancerous cells. This time they did the LEEP. Has anyone else had these procedures done more than once and will it effect my ability to carry more children?
Thanks!

I had the LEEP surgery in 1998 for pre-cancerous cells and I now have a lovely 5 year old boy. I had minor complications but nothing to bad. My husband and I say practice makes perfect. So just keep trying.

I had the LEEP done twice for the same reasons. At the time we were talking about baby #2 so had to wait until the Dr. gave the ok for healing properly and all clear. The only issue I had was it hurt when the Dr. checked me because my scar tissue was still a bit tender. Then during labor when I was checked each time it hurt up until the epidural kicked in. Those were the only things. At my 6 week check up it didn't hurt anymore at all. woo..thank goodness! Hope this helps!

I had the surgery and got pregnant the 1st try afterwards. I had pre-cancerous cells as well and endometriosis and my doc said that the surgery helps and right after is the best time to try and get pregnant (after your body heals of course)

I had a LEEP before having my 3rd child. We now have 4 children. They had to do cervidil before my 3rd birth and had no complications. Talk to your doctor, but I think you will be fine!

Good Luck!
