my sentiments too !!! Thanks for sharing. A funny thing, I have a friend who is a S. S. too . Such an unusual name and then to have the same letter for the last name. Take care
I haven't a request, I only wanted to leave a note for all you wonderful moms to say THANK YOU for all of the care, concern, advice, comiseration, empathy, support, encouragement and love that you send out to us all with every response to a request, every bit of feedback, even every request itself is a display of love of family, children, relationship and self.
I am just so incredibly proud of us all! Mamasource is a fantastic forum and it's because of all of the awesome and "real" women who involve themselves in it.
Keep up the great work, "fighting the good fight" and loving, loving, loving, all the way through!
Love and peace and support to you all,
and thanks again :)

Thanks for putting the message out there....it does take a village to raise a child and a community that is supportive and connected could lead to great changes in this world for our kids! Our "super" power is our voice and knowing when to ask for help. Our "super" power is lending an ear and being empathetic and offering real solutions without judgement. Our "super" power is realizing we can't do it all, and that giving our 100% looks different day to day! Our "super" power is knowing that all of us our doing the best we can with what we know...
Thanks for acknowledging all of us out here. I read mamasource everyday and love the responses from mama's just like you and I out there. I love responding back when I can offer words of advise or merely words of encouragement. Thanks again S..

I can only agree,wholeheartedly....the women here are a great source for anyone needing a lil advice, help, consolation etc......It seems to me, from your personal description that, you are just the type of mom who cares more about the world around her than just in her own backyard.....God Bless
Thank you for such a wonderful "note". I agree, Mamasource has been such a wealth of information for me and it is so wonderful to know that there are so MANY wonderful women out there supporting one another!! Cheers to you for bringing this up!
S.,
How thoughtful of you to write such a nice note to everyone!
From another East Bay mama, except I'm living in Europe. Long story how I got on this website, but I am glad I have as everything you said was true.
It was nice of you to take the time to write something so lovely to our Mama friends!
This is a wonderful site to be a part of. And I believe it does make a positive difference in our lives.
Have a wonderful day!

What a strong name by the way, you hit it on the proverbial head...thank you for the public gratitude and appreciation.
This is a blessed forum....where kindness, share knowledge, humility and encouragement abound...
I thought of your village reminder and painstakingly realize how much my husband and I long for more of a village life...but are thankful for those little moments that make up a web of support.
I have East Bay memories in my soul, with some of my closest friends still living in the foot of Mount Diablo...memories abound..and my grandmother's rolling hills Hansen ranch, now developed by others, hold memories of my mother climbing trees as a young girl and me as a grandchild wildly twirling across the meadow..today we are in Roseville..and there is some twirling and climbing room but I long for more meadow land.
Thank you to you too. What a nice thing to open and read. I'm sure your message brings a smile to anyone's face! Take care and keep up the great work!
