Does anyone have a good probiotic that they take for themselves? I've constantly been sick and I'm hoping this will help, but I don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

Healthy Trinity by Natren has worked wonders for my husband. And find probiotics that are refrigerated from start to finish (some are on shelf then get refrigerated after opening, don't get these type)

New Chapter and Jarrow are respectable brands and I have taken both for the last six months. Try to find a probiotic that requires refrigeration as they seem to be more effective.

ProB8. Amazing.

You can find them at health food stores or i know Fred Meyer/Kroger carries them as well.

I have found though that MOST are up to par with one another....so any kind really can get the job done.

Kefir Milk - its like a fruit smoothie and tastes great. The probiotics help regulate bacteria in the digestive tract.

A GI doctor told me that Align is the best. It can be quite expensive but they do have a money back guarantee.

A probiotic is great and helps keep bad bacteria from developing in the gi tract. However you may need to evaluate the whole diet and exercise is your always catching everything. Try to go to a diet of fruit, veggies, beans, and lean proteins. No highly processed anything for 6 weeks if you feel better it was a lack of nutrients. Also add in more exercise as this also boosts the immune process. Use plenty of herbs and spices in cooking and in liquids you consume. Good luck and feel better.

Drink kefir, it tastes great and you can buy it at pretty much all the grocery stores.

Ultimate Probiotics 12/12 formula by Natural Factors. It's in pill form and needs to be refrigerated. The probiotics in things like kefir and yogurt are really good, but you can get more active strains of bacteria if you go with a pill.

I swear by probiotics.
