Wondering what A.I.'s rules were for doubling down rides if your child doesn't know how to swim yet? Are there any that we can do together, and what ones do they NOT allow you to go down together? Thanks!

What can I do next?

You're in luck. My mother-in-law worked there last summer and so we took the babies. My son at the time was 2. I was worried about the same thing. There are a couple of slides (the original ones) that are located to the right when you walk in, that willl allow you to ride with the babies. I was rellieved and had fun. Just be careful at the end when you "drop" off the side, he may go under for a minute. Just hold on tight and lift him up ASAP.
Good luck and have fun. Oh BTW - there is an awesome kids area that he will enjoy as well. They also have a mini wave pool. It's too cute.!

i had the same concern, but do not worry. adventure island has life vests located all around the park in many different sizes, all the way up to adult. just look for the big metal bins sitting around the park. the best part is that there is no additional charge to use them. and there are quite a few rides you can ride with your child. you just have to ask the ride operator. we went a bunch of times last summer, what a great way to spend a hot, steamy florida summer. have fun.

Most of them are single rider. There is a double raft ride and they also have the bayou where you can go together and a really cool kiddie area. Even a non swimmer can have fun there.
