We want to spruce up our backyard as well as provide some additional shade and privacy, but we know nothing about buying trees. Does anyone know of a great, affordable place to buy trees, and will they install the trees for you? I would prefer a nursery or tree farm as opposed to Home Depot and Lowes. Any good or bad experiences with different trees would be helpful, too, especially Crepe Myrtles and Bradford Pears. Thanks for any info!
Hi K. - Not sure whre you're located, but we live in Lewisville and bought 2 Bradford Pears & a Chinese Pistache at W W Tree Farms ###-###-####), 11814 Harry Hines Blvd, Farmers Branch, TX 75234. They were great - we explained what we thought we wanted and were educated. They plant & guarantee the trees for a year. Have fun!
I searched my files to find the name of where we bought our trees. They were very reasonably priced, I did lots of research. They also offer one year warrenty if they plant it, or you can dig the hole to make it cheaper. I came with a map of my house and they helped me decide where to plant and what I want. I definately will go back to get more trees!

A very good tree farm is just north of McKinney called "Gunther Tree Farm". We have purchased from them through the years and the trees are great. When my son bought his home in Murphy he went there. Just this week he bought 2 more. They also will plant them for you. Their prices a great too.
