Love, love, love our Aldi! There is no way I could afford to grocery shop without it. The only thing I don't like are the "box soups" (the trader joe's ones are better and not too much more expensive) and my husband does not like their cheapest deli meat but enjoys the premium brand.
Other than that, Go Aldi!! Love.
I habitually purchase almost everything there, including milk (cheaper by $1 gallon here than other stores), eggs, cereal, chips, pretzels, crackers, coffee, butter, fresh fruit, baby carrots, celery, lettuce, avocados, pasta and sauce, frozen vegetables, baking ingredients, breakfast bars, quick-cooking oats, boca burgers (the real deal!), treats, ice cream, frozen hamburger patties and I swear, their skin care line rocks!
Oh, and the chocolates are divine. :)
You'll find a lot of store brand items that are just as good as name brands, and some have two levels, regular and premium (like the grandessa sauce or cookies) for two price points. They also have a lot of name brands as special buys. They have a money-back guarantee, so if you don't like it, take it back. No questions. Even if you already opened it/ate some/whatever. I have used that before.
I do a lot of my holiday shopping there, too, as they have some great buys on toys when the season comes around.
Can you tell I really love Aldi? :)
