All My Sweaters Are Ruined :(( (Lint Problem)

I put some of my sweaters together in the wash. I was being extra careful , but then one of the woolen grey scarf that I have shed and has shed so nastily. Now all my other sweaters are covered with grey lint .It's not wearable any more.
I have the lint roll that I use on my black winter coat, but I don't think I will be able to remove everything with that to make it wearable.

Is there any other way I can get all this lint of my sweaters.I hope there is! Some sweaters were expensive ones and some I really loved esp the black ones.

I am so sad :(

What can I do next?

I use clothes shavers all the time. I hae having the pills on clothes. You can buy them at Walgreens , Target or Walmart . You do have to be careful with some knits if they are raised or loosely knit--don;t press too hard. Other items clean up much easier.

What about taking them to the dry cleaner and see what they think? They deal with clothes all day long and may have ideas.

I place them in the net laundry bags and place them in the dryer on air dry for a little while.. Usually the lints right off. Just check them every 5 minutes till the lint has lifted.

There is an automatic fabric shaver that you can get at Walgreens or CVS for about $8.00. I saw a co-worker use it, and another co-worker was so over the moon about it I bought her one on a whim. They look like this:

Buy a lint shaver/razor. I've found them at Target, and they have saved M. many a sweater!

I concur with using the dry cleaner. They help with that tremendously. Also getting a clothes shaper as mentioned below will help. Good luck.
