We just found tiny, black ants on our hibiscus. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them. We also just found several in our bathroom. Thanks, Moms!

What can I do next?

Ant traps are WONDERFUL!!! We get ants in our kitchen every year and these little babies are perfect. Unless your child puts everthing in his/her mouth I wouldn't be worried because they are virtually impossible to break, and the will get all of them in about a day (and keep them from coming back). You could also use an ant spray, but I would keep your family away from that area for a period of time just to be safe.

HA- believe it or not, ants do not like any type of pepper (seasoning, dry). Table pepper or hot peppers, it works. If you have little ones and are trying to be as healthy as possible in the home, use and type of pepper. Outside, you can do the same thing... they will just go else where- So, I would suggest a bug spray of some kind... water and then let sit, then spray...

I was cleaning and put a gabage bag at the front door, when it was cooler...and I within on hour- I had ants at my front door. I sprinkled and vacumed.... then went back and they were gone.

In your situation, find the hole that they are coming from and also use that silicone stuff to clog the hole...

Grits (yes in the breakfast food isle) work wonders. Just spread outside where see them. I have also used diatamaceous earth with good results. Both of these are earth friendly and non toxic to children and pets.

Hi D.,

I know that table salt will help get rid of them in the bathroom.
