Anybody Use Udder Covers?

Ok so there was a great deal going on for Udder Covers recently and I've heard great reviews on them so I bought some. I just got them in the mail and these babies are friggin HUGE!! I was expecting some pads that are big enough to cover the nipple so no leakage would seep through and get on my shirts. There is no way these bad boys are going to fit under my bra without poking out for God and everybody to see! Not sure what to do with these things now. I don't want to cut them or anything bc they are 100% cotton and machine washable. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I use their nursing pads (and the Udder Cover nursing shawl too) and haven't had any problems fitting them into my nursing bras or my regular full-coverage bras. My days of wearing demi bras ended when I got preggo with number one and went from a B to a C cup, but would be laughable after number 2 left me at a D. Nursing pads need to cover a lot more than just the nipple to absorb all the leaks. Lansinoh's washable pads are smaller and so are Gerber's disposable pads, but most are the size of the ones sold by Udder Covers. I have found them to soak through more often, so I double up if I wake up really engorged. Good luck!

I have used their rewashable nursing pads and they fit me great, although like you said, they are a bit noticeable. I'd just double up my shirts.I also have two nursing covers and love them. I have no problems with them.

The breast pads you are referring to are not called Udder Covers (that's the nursing shawl). I have both. Nursing cover/shawl didn't work well after baby learned how to lift it up, but great for first couple months. I did use the bra pads a lot especially at night. Don't know if this is your first child or not, but don't underestimate the amount of leakage (or breast size increase once milk comes in--it was almost frightening at first:) that can occur during and between feedings. I loved them once i started using them. Much cheaper than disposables too. Check for a money back guarantee if you totally are not satisfied. Nurse Midwife Mom of 3

I got my Udder Cover (the apron type cover) and some pads, too. I loved the cover. Never used the pads. I LOVED Lansinoh's disposable ones. Very discreet.

I thought you meant the nursing shawl cover. I found their shawl to be inferior to Bebe Au Lait/Hooter Hider and never bought another one.

If the nursing pads are too big, you might need to trim them to get them to fit, or use them with certain bras. I liked Medela's washable nursing pads. They were the right size and soft.

Lanisoh's Ultra Soft disposable pads are very nice, IMO, when you can find them.

Have you washed them yet? If they are 100% cotton, they will most likely shrink! It they are still too big, I would try cutting them and sewing them back up so you can still use them. By the way, I have the nursing cover and I love it! Much better than the poncho type one that I was given!
