Anyone Been to Donald H. Hogue - Pediatric Dentist in Arvada?

Don't know them, but can not say enough about Children's dentistry off 80th and Sheridan. They are fantastic, they have tvs in the ceilings, they always let you come back with your child which is huge, you need to make sure they will let you. My brother took his daughter to another dentist where they would not let you back and they said she needed a root canal. Took her here for a second opinion, turns out she didn't even have a cavity!!!! They are on most insurance plans. My son had a tooth pulled and they were fantastic he was very calm and didn't feel a thing. I have never seen a child really scared there, which says a lot. I have referred several friends and they are all extremely happy. Good luck!

Thanks to everyone who recommended Children's Dentistry at 80th and Sheridan. When I saw this post go up, I immediately bookmarked it because I was looking for a Pediatric Dentist myself. Took my 3 year old there yesterday and they were WONDERFUL with her. I was very pleased with our visit and how they treated us.

I have not been to Dr Hogue and this place might be too far but Little Britches in Longmont is absolutly FANTASTIC.
I took my 2 yr old for her first check up and she still talks about the experience (in a good way!) It's only for kids so everything is pint sized just for them.
They dont take any insurance but they will bill your insurance for you. I can't say enough about this practice - I wish I could go there too!

I don't know about Donald Hogue, but also want to recommend Children's Dentistry. The office is terrific, the dentists are extremely knowledgeable and great with kids. They allow you to be back with your kids and explain everything very clearly. The only thing I do not support that they do (so I simply said this wasn't an option for my child) is that sometimes if the kids are not cooperative they have them drink a "demerol cocktail" which makes them a bit loopy and then they wrap them up to restrain their arms while they do the work. Having worked in the area of bodily trauma, I know this is NOT a good experience for kids to have so I would rather put them all the way out under anesthesia than drug and restrain them. I found all the dentists there to be extremely respectful of my personal choices and they had lots of options regarding how to best work with little ones. Good luck finding the right office.

wE WENT THERE WHEN MY SON WAS 4 AND WILL NEVER GO BACK. hE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE AND IT TOOK HIM A LONG TIME TO LIKE THE DENTIST AGAIN. WE GO TO NELLIE AND ELIZABETH BARR AT CHILDREN'S DENTISTRY ON 80TH AND SHERIDAN, THEY ARE WONDERFUL.

No, but I take my boys to Perfect Teeth, Dr. Hymer (woman), at 88th & Wadsworth. They are wonderful with kids! Good luck!
