My husband just got all his teeth done at Parkhaven dental in Plano. They did a great job and the staff is great. They are at the Tollway and Windhaven. The number is ###-###-####.
I've been thinking of getting Veneers on my teeth because they have so many ugly markings on them caused by I don't know what, but regular whitening will not work on them. I've been told Veneers would be my best bet. Anyone had this done? What's the procedure...how expensive is it?

I have veneers on my front two tooth because they are dead. They cost me $1000 per tooth and the process that it takes to put them on requires to have them replaced if they get damaged. This happened through a freak mishap that was completely outside of ordinary life. However, I was told replacement is expected after 10-15 years. The procedure was not painful.
My suggestion to you is do not rush through the process. Find a cosmetic dentist for the procedure and ask where the veneers are made. My sets were put on in different states and both dentists required me to go to the lab where they were made for color and shape comparison. The first lab took over an hour comparing color and natural streaks and bumps and grooves and shape to my other teeth. The second lab took about 10 minutes. I liked the first set much better. These are fine and I am not self conscious about them at all, but the first were incredible beautiful. I would give you the name of lab, but it is not in Texas.
Hope this helps.
Hi Cathy
I am a general Dentist.I recommend you to get LUMINEERS(painless veneers)!!There is no drilling if any it is so minimal!!The Dentist has to be licenced to place Lumineers!!Check their site on web by Denmat. The price range from $700-900 per lumineers and twenty years of guarantee! If you get your regular cleaning on schedule!Theses lumineers are for teeth that are not severly decayed(need porcelain crown)and good oral hygien.Good luck.
I had one of my front teeth done about 10 years old, it was around 800$ back then for one tooth. They grind down the edges of your tooth to fit the veneer - it feels just fine. I probably need to get a new one since that tooth has since discolored even more. I would do it again if I had another tooth that didn't look good. -JM
