Hello, I am wondering if anyone has shopped at a Children's Orchard store near you, and what your experience was like.

What can I do next?

It's a pretty decent store...it's definitely worth a look. My advice - don't bring the girls as it can be kinda crammed and you have to take your time and really look at the racks to "find" something good...i.e. be patient. I got a practically brand new rainforest jumparoo for $35 and a few cute summer outfits for my daughter. Now if you take thier old stuff there be prepared to get next to nothing for it.

I went to Children's Orchard for the first time a few months ago (and this is for baby #4!!) It was great (the one in Simi Valley). They have some good quality clothes. I was able to come away with about 4 fleece jammies, 3 pants, a sweatshirt, overalls and a couple shirts for about $40. They have a pretty strict policy for accepting items to sell so that's why the clothes are in such good shape. Good luck and happy shopping!

I have not shopped at Children's Orchard but LOVED Once Upon A Child when my 2 kids were younger. They have stores in La Crescenta and Santa Clarita. Good Luck!

I shop at the Children's Orchard in Simi Valley a few times a month. It's how I get my baby-shoppin' fix for my little 5month old daughter! I love it there. A lot of my friends and family come up from Burbank to shop there too. I can always get away with spending very little money for a lot of great stuff. You can go to the website and sign up for email notices of sales and stuff too.

I was a single mother of my daughter untill she was 4. I, believe me was looking for any ways to make ends meet. I had checked out almost every consignment store in the Santa Clarita Valley. I stumbled across Childrens Orchard on Bouquet Cyn in Saugus and love the quality of used name brands. Prices ranging from 3.00 ( the lesser names like target etc) 15.00 for Gymboree and inbetween prices for gap, old nave etc. The store was clean the staff great and the clothes they are very paticular about what they bring in to "re"sell. Overall I had great experiences w/ the store. Hope this gives you a little insight.

Hi J.,
I shop at the Childrens Orchard in Santa Clarita and also the one in Northridge and love it. I normally take in my sons old clothes (he's 2.5) and trade them in for the store credit and then I get new clothes for him all the time. He has a great brand new pair of Nike sandals for the summer, for 4 bucks! How can you beat that? =) I've gotten black tux shoes for a wedding he was in for 6 bucks (I didn't mind spending 6 bucks on shoes he was going to wear once) The clothes that they buy from you of course need to be gently used or new, and I know that's hard with little ones, but they really do give you a great credit for your buy backs. I'm a single mom on a budget so getting clothes here is just wonderful and most of the clothes still have original tags on them and most of the time are cheaper than Wal-Mart, not to mention better quality. I recommend this store to all the moms I know =)

Happy Shopping,
H.
