Anyone Watching the Bachelorette?

My husband and I are watching and yes, I'm annoyed. I don't think she's horrible, but I do think sometimes think "pathetic". This season, to me, is a train-wreck. If I hear the name "Bentley" again I might scream.

nope, should I be? I didn't like her at ALL in the Bachelor - so I didn't think I could handle her on her own!!!

Ashley is nuts! I cant believe the way she thinks. She is absolutely not ready to settle down and those poor guys! I was happy Nicky left for the right reasons, he could tell she wasnt worth his time. The rest should take a hint. Who asks to get roasted and then cries about it? Who thinks its cool to have your guys fight for you and knock each other out? This chick is just nuts!

I don't think she is a horrible person but I think she is incredibly immature and annoying. Of course some editing could be helping the public take that opinion. My husband, who thinks the show is the dumbest thing ever, told me that most women just like trash that treat them badly and that this girl confirms his opinion.

YES. She is driving me and my friends crazy. Some of her guys seem so sincere and genuine and truly good guys....sort of hard to find! I think they can all do better than her. She doesn't seem ready to settle down, I don't see her engagement lasting at all.

I probably wouldn't watch, but we have a group of girls who get together every week, and it's my guilty pleasure break from my kids each Monday night!!

I usually watch bachelor/bachelorette but I have not been able to watch past week 2 this season. She is driving me nuts... and none of her guys seem very interesting.

yep...i feel the same as the others. Ashley...whining about Bently...she made herself look so STUPID!!! Bently was such a player/lady charmer....easy to fall for and very tempting...but SHE SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!! She obviously is very smart...but she is acting SO STUPID!!

I love this show but also think it is INCREDIBLY lame. It is so BAD...that it is good. One thing I have to say.....maybe it is just me....but I really can't imagine ANY guy I know wanting to go on that show. And it is so lame how the guys all sit around and gossip .....get all excited for the date cards. Can you imagine your husband or any other guy doing that ? I can't. Who are these guys??!!! Lame. Even the guys that I like on this show.......I still really have to wonder about them.....why would they ever go on a show like this???
I know that things are staged for the camera....but come on..what guy would act like that.....even just for the camera....they look like a bunch of dorks

I've got it DVRd but haven't taken the time to watch it...should probably just delete it - she drove me insane with Brad....

She is insecure and is caught up in the "fame" right now...she's not there to find love - she's there to promote herself...

I only watched one episode...she was getting dumped by a loser cretin and I still had a hard time creating that "bridge of empathy", if you know what I mean.

I'm sure she's nicer in real life (hopefully) and just edited to look like someone I couldn't stand, but even if I were a regular, I would've tuned out. I'd rather watch a person I could root for and feel a bit more invested in. However, I suspect those people don't go on tv to do shows like these.

She is annoying! Hated her on the bachelor. She's like 24, right? Why is she in a hurry to find her one true love, live a little! Every pretty, smart girl will find someone eventually. She definitely needs to grow up! And I hear you on the young people desperate to find their fairytale endings, you're young, you have plenty of time! The bachelor/ettes should be above age 27. But then there wouldn't be as much drama for ratings..gasp! :0

If you all think she is annoying and immature, then why are you watching it? You all seem to know everything that is going on with the show, so how else would you know this if you didn't watch it? It's a reality show! They are all fake and rehearsed. It was made to make her look and act the way she does. I can't say that I have actually watched much of the reality shows, but from the previews that I have seen about them, I'd say pretty much all of them are fake and stupid!!

i watch it. i think she is misguided. i think she screwed up her chances and i think the viewers are put off by having her as a bachelorette. she doesn't know what she wants.

It's ALL "non-reality" t.v. .. in which case, even when you think it's real, it's not... they do several different takes... even on that show Hoarders, they have to re-do different scenes and angles.. This kind of programming should not be taken too seriously. Additionally, she isn't looking for love, she is looking for her 15 minutes of fame... Many of these people have been on different reality shows and it's all about screen time..

My mom & I cant stand her!!!! We call each other during the commercials just to talk about how stupid she is! She was so pathetic over the whole Bently thing!!!! He comes to Hong Kong & she asks why he came. A free trip to Hong Kong duh!!! I know she cant help it but shes very bow legged & she wears skinny jeans which bring attention to it!! Someone mentioned tbe roast & I agree.... it was a roast!!! What do u expect?! We cant stand her. I didnt like her on the Bachelor so i knew she would be annoying!!

I wrote this on my nook so sorry for any typos! I know a select few have made it but I dont believe this actually works to select your husband.

I sit every evening watching tv and chatting online with my sister. We laugh at the stupid stuff on this show every week. Long talks that go no where, saying stupid unending nothings. She fell for Bently in less than 2 weeks, and was crushed when he left the show. Even after he came back and she saw him, and thinks she has him out of her system. All she really has done is show the other guys they are all her rebound boys. None of them stand a real chance of lasting with a gal as shallow and immature as her. What do you want to bet Bently will be the next bachelor?

It's so funny that you posted this because I was just having this exact conversation with a friend of mine today! And, it's funny that Diana P. used the term "pathetic" because that, too, is exactly how I described her. This girl has some serious self esteem issues and it's rather sad. I haven't watched this show in several years and now I think I remember why. Not sure I can watch anymore. I think I'm going to stick with So You Think You Can Dance, which is my other show. The only reason I was watching it at all is because my husband got a new job in another state and we haven't moved yet, so I'm bored at home by myself in the evenings, but I just don't think I'm quite this bored! LOL!
