Since the Feds recalled Meridia that's not an option to take and I had success with it. Here's the thing, I am doing Weight Watchers and have increased my activity..ie. treadmill. I drink a ton of water and cook veggies with meals to add the extra bulk so I don't feel like I am on a diet...I still find myself hungry and needing just something to take the edge of the extra hunger I feel.
Do you have any natural remedies/suppliments that help while you are trying to loose weight?
I don't want to try the "stuff" in the drugstore...Xenephrine (don't need my heart to race) or Alli and you've got stomach/intestinal issues if you know what I mean..etc..

Chew sugarfree gum and drink your water ice cold.
Find another activity to takes your mind off of eating when the hunger urge strikes. Often a full 8 ounces of water will help.
Try some of the basic fillers. A handful of almonds goes a long way for me.
Or a brown rice cake with peanut butter. Or Raw veggies with salsa.
If you're hungry, don't ignore it. Just eat the right, clean thing. It will actually help you keep your metabolism up and give it a boost. If you ignore your hunger, you'll send yourself into starvation mode, which actually stalls weight loss.
I use a fat burner called GPX meltdown from GNC. It's not an appetite surpressant, but what it's done is help with water retention.
Brush your teeth. :)
I chew gum. It's low in calories and comes in a TON of different flavours.
Put cinnamon in your coffee every morning!
And drink lots and lots of water :)
If you still feel hungry, you may be sensitive to glucose spikes from the food you eat. I feel hungry not long after I eat food/drinks with artificial sweeteners, drink milk (lots of sugar), or eat rice, potatoes, etc. If this is the case, consider always eating a protein with a little fat with every meal. Best of luck.
You definitely don't want to try that stuff in the drug store. I'd suggest that you switch to eating several small meals all day long. That way, you are never hungry. The key here is "small meals." They can't be full plates of food, or you'll go in the opposite direction.
Have a small breakfast (1 egg and toast), then at 10am, have a yogurt and a handful of nuts. For lunch, a small salad with protein. Around 3pm, have a piece of fruit. Etc.....
All the meals should be about the same size, all small. This will keep you from ever feeling too hungry and overeating.
I have found that fiber tablets help. You can find them by the metamucil, etc at Target.
Also have heard that chewing gum helps in a pinch.
