So have any of you pranked anyone today? or are you to?
I usually just let it pass on by, I don't get into it. But my husband on the other hand loves this day! Being the character he is... he posted on FB a pic of two positive pregnancy tests side by side and comented on it... " had to take it twice to make sure".
Other than the many comments on his page... our phone has been ringing off the hook! And he left for the day!! so far they have all been are you really pregnant? My response has been well... then the next question is " didn't you get your tubes tied?" yes.. after dragging them on for a min or two I just respond April fools day.... I have been called a color choice of words today! lol And it was my husbands joke!! I just went along for his fun, but next time I will make sure he has to take the phone calls... I think the joke is just as much on me as everyone else since I have to talk to them! lol
The girls are at their dads this weekend, but they come back tonight. I'm going to hobble around on my 'boot' (big cast thingy) and crutches and tell them I broke my ankle over the weekend...
THOUGHT ABOUT sticking a baby doll in the stroller and just leaving it in the front yard to see how many people stop, but my cop buddy was like 'I don't feel like working all day, please don't!' HAHAHA!!
Well leaving for the day was part of the prank...forward the calls to his phone!
My husband gets me every year. This year, his prank was just mean. He wrapped a thin, rubber band around the sprayer hose that's attached to the faucet (compressing the handle) so that when I turned on the faucet to wash our son's apple, the water sprayed all over me. He is going to pay for that one. He's already had to do extra chores to make up for it.
Haven't been online until now. Dang. I totally forgot it was A. Fools Day. Yours sounds funny. I have to give it a think.....it IS date night.....and my dad and his family are coming into town tomorrow to stay a few days (much to my husband's chagrin). Perhaps I should phone husband and tell him to hurry home, they showed up a day early. >:)
I wish they didn't post WHERE the winning mega miillions tickets were sold; it'd have been fun (and interesting?) to post that I won on facebook (close friends only).
My hubby is on the road (truck driver, currently delivering a load to AZ) so he can't respond to texts right away, but I did text him that I was pregnant as a joke. Considering I have an IUD in place, that really would be a surprise! Haven't heard back from him yet, but he is usually one that is hard to fool. I've seen a lot of posts on my FB today from friends saying they are pregnant with twins, triplets, etc. - I've already posted that I am not falling for any of it! I actually saved my positive home pregnancy test from when I was pregnant with our daughter, so I am think the next step will be to take a picture of it with my phone and send it to him and let him think it's from today.
No one has fooled anyone here yet today. I think hubs forgot. He's out now, so will probably return from the store and someone probably said something to him. So I guess I won't be able to fool him. But I'll be on guard when he gets back.
I tried to get my pregnant friend to take a pregnancy test for me so I could have it to have "proof" that I was pregnant. She wouldn't do it. So that one idea was shattered and so I was stuck with nothing.
My kiddies have been playing little pranks all day. We have had the ice water in the shower, quarter with pencil on it, switched phone covers...all kinds of things. They are cutie pies, and i am enjoying every minute.... especially when hubby was on receiving end of a couple cute pranks...he he he!
Be careful with the April Fools "Jokes". I read one lady told her husband they just won a multi million dollar lottery and he called his boss and told him what he thought of him and quit.
When he got home the wife said "April Fools". But it wasn't funny when he told her what he'd done..
