There are ligit business's out there. I'm currently with a group called The A-List Ladies, we do internet marketing. Just make sure that you check the company out really well, and that you know what you are getting into. If you want to do home "meetings" I can recommend a wellness company but you have to be able to make calls and get out to do home meetings. I sell Usborne Children's Books to make a little extra money on the side. One great thing I found about this company is they give you a website for 6 months (after that it's $50 a year to maintain the website) with your "sign-up" package (which changes month to month.) The sign-up kit is usually around $50 and gives you at least 10 children's books, all ordering supplies, and the website. I've only hosted a few home partites, but have also sold books on-line by having "E-shows"...just like doing a "party", but where people place orders on-line through the website. I've also had orders placed by people I don't know...they came across my website and placed orders. I used Vista Print and had free business cards made. I leave them everywhere. I love that there are no "requirements" month to month to retain your "saleswoman status" and whenever I decide to stop I have a great collection of books for my kids.
