I sell Usborne Children's books. What I love about this is having children I know so many people who have children and everyone seems to be interested in good books. I have such a huge market of people who I can "promote" my books to. Even better, the company provides you with a website to sell your books from so if you don't want to host parties you can do on-line shows. I have had so many people host an e-show...they send an e-mail to all their friends/family. Those people order on-line, the hostess gets the benefits, and you get the commision. It is really easy and children's books will NEVER be useless! You can also work with daycares, preschools, schools, libraries, etc.

I can't say enough about how great this company is. There are on-line training meeting/videos, awesome websites, chat meetings where you can ask questions, etc.

Have you thought about watching other children during the day as well? Since you are already at home you could get paid for it, and your son would have playmates... I have done that for years. I have also started selling BeautiControl, as a Spa Consultant, its not a 'party' that I'm going to, its a spa. Everytime I go to work I end up at a Spa. And when I leave, I leave a room full of women feeling relaxed and pampered and glad that I was there. Or at least one woman who feels better about herself, and that's what is great about my job. And the benefits I get are pretty good too!

There are so many different opportunities out there that I recommend you research each one because everyone likes different things. I chose to work with a Wellness Company for several reasons -1) I enjoy helping others and educating about the effects of toxins in our home products 2) I do not like selling product so I like that we all pay the same price - I just open accounts so people can shop like me 3) most of my work is done at home over the computer and phone vs home-parties 4) I am actually saving people money vs asking them to buy something more expensive so I can make money (thats selling again)
