We just went to a Backyardigans birthday party...they got the cake at Jewel.
i think someone asked a few months back on where to find a backyardigans cake. i went back and read the advice which unfortunately didnt provide any leads. so i'm trying my luck with the same question. anybody know where to find one/who can make one? i would rather have the one with picture of them on cake rather than sticking little figures in it. thanks in advance.
Yay! After about 5 calls, I found a Jewel-a little out of the way, but found one nonetheless that the priceless smile on my son's face will let me know it was worth it. Thank you!

We had a Backyardigans party this past May. I brought an image to Dairy Queen (Surf's Up!) and they were able to replicate it on the cake. It went over really well. The other idea I've done in the past is buy an "edible image" (of Nemo) from Ebay. They come in all sizes and a variety of images. You can apply to your own cake--or like me, the nonbaker, onto a plain Costco cake ($15). Good luck!
I've always got exactly the cake I've wanted at Deerfields Bakery. I've e-mailed the design I want on the cake and are able to draw it on the cake. They did a priate map cake for me and a black/red Spiderman face. Here's the website:

I had a Backyardigans party for my two year old in May, and I got a backyardigans cake at Jewel. I know the Jewel in Shorewood makes it. Also, if you're looking for a character that comes to the party, (I know I looked everywhere!), there's a place called Partysavers in Aurora that has Uniqua and Pablo. My daughter loved it!!! Good luck!
You should try Cake by Collen...not only does she make beautiful cake, but they taste great too!!! She is on Higgins near Austin in Chicago.
