Anyone recommend a bakery in Albuquerque or Rio Rancho? My daughter loves Go Diego Go and I would like to get her a themed cake. Any suggestions? The last place I used tasted great but the cake didn't look like the character we asked for.

We always use Say It With Cake on the westside (corner of Irving and Golf Course just south of Ellison). They have a great album of cakes they've done in the past, and you can also take with one of the decorators to discuss ideas if you're not sure what you want it to look like. The cakes taste fabulous and they are reasonably priced!
I use ABC Bakery off of San Pedro and Constitution. They made our wedding cake, they have made all of our kids' birthday cakes and every year they recreate the top layer of our wedding cake for our anniversary.
I recently took in a hat that was the theme of my son's birthday. The cake looked exactly like the hat, it was very cute.
I highly reccomend and they give a 10% military discount
I used Say it With Cake on the West Side for my son's birthday and they did a great job. It's located on Golf Course. It's run by moms. My son loves Handy Manny and they were quite familiar with Manny. Hope that helps.
ABC Bakery is the best bakery in town hands down! They will do anything custom plus they have a lot of standard cakes they offer.
I got my daughter a Dora cake from Smith's and it was GREAT! NO need to go to a bakery and pay a fortune for a cake. Smith's does a great job and the cake tasted awesome!
