Ballet in Far West Fort Worth

So I have already checked into Dance Etc. and I like it very much. However, I want to know if something more affordable is out there. The Little Gym on S. Hulen is too far. My six-year-old (and possibly my four-year-old twins) wants to take ballet. I would ideally prefer ballet/tap/tumble, but really anything affordable and close will be considered. Any recommendations? I'm out on the west edge of White Settlement.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for the ideas. I have called the five closest Y branches and none of them have ballet for kiddos. I will be looking into the other two suggestions, and will start just the six-year-old somewhere in January. If the twins are still interested I'll let them start over the summer. Thanks again!

My daughter takes ballet at R D Evans Recreation Center just south of Ridgmar Mall. It was originally set up for homeschool children, but they are taking schooled children, provided there are openings in the time slots needed. The instructor is also a Christian and the girls pray together after every class. It is great.

The address is

R.D. Evans
3242 Lackland Rd.

The instructor's name is Debbie Dena (although her 18 year old daughter, Kimberly, actually teaches the class). Debbie's email address is ____@____.com We are out now for winter break until probably January 8th. You may call the recreation center or email Debbie Dena either one. Classes are once per week and I think cost $16/month for the beginner class, and you have to have a "city membership card" which I believe is $5/year (may be $10 now). Hope this helps. God bless and Merry Christmas.

I don't know if they still do it or not, but my Stepdaughter took dance at the YMCA a few years back. You might ask about it. It was much cheaper than dance studios.

You might try Caron Moore Dance. They are located on Highway 377. My daughter attended for years and they are very professional. They are probably price competitive with the other studios in the area, but the location may suit you well.

Good luck,

I run a dance studio at my church - Southcliff Baptist - at I20 and Granbury. We currently are not taking students as we are getting ready for our recital, but we do have a summer program. We offer tap, ballet, jazz, and hip hop for kids ages 2 and a half and up. Check us out at www.devotioninmotion.com

Thanks,
S.
