Try Everything But Water or a sports store like Academy or Sports Authority.
I think Target might even have bathings suits out now, actually.....
I'm going on my honeymoon (a cruise in the Bahamas) in about 10 days and I don't have any new bathing suits. (newest one I have is 3 years old.... where can I buy a bathing suit in person (don't have time to order online) this time of year??!!
Thank you!
More SHW: There were NO bathing suits at Sports Authority, Everything But Water is (crazy) expensive although I did buy something there, JC Penny had a very limited few to choose from and so did Macys. In case anyone was looking. BUT they all said bathing suits would be coming in at the end of January.
Thank you everyone! I buy everything online but not clothing.... Im just the type of person that has to try it on for size, esp bathing suits, I dont want anything falling out from the top or the bottom ;) . And I just have a feeling that if I ordered it I would have to return it for another size or something like that, so that is what I mean by not having time to order online.
I would have never thought of sports stores, I will definitely try that and I haven't been to a big store in ages (buy everything online) so I had no idea they were out in stores already. I'm SO excited for this vacation. I'm in Dallas so its not like we've had a bad winter and I want to escape to the warm sun, its more I just want to escape to anywhere :P

The nicer department stores all put out the best bathing suits this time of year specifically for cruises. Even though I couldn't afford to cruise, I always bought my suit in January. If you are just wearing a little strip of fabric, it had better be cut and fitted perfectly. I think it makes a huge difference to buy quality.
Sporting goods store. It won't be the cutest thing in creation. Or you can wait until you get there. :)
When I worked at Penney's we got swim suits in right before Thanksgiving and winter coats in right before July 4th. It is the trend in marketing now to have merchandise in stores 6 months before customers need it.
Check out the stoes now I would bet many have swim suits in now. If you need to order one Penney's could have one to you in about 3 days.
Congratulations!!! JEALOUS. But not really. Enjoy. And why don't you just pack the old one and if you happen to find one on the run or when you are there enjoy that.
If you are on your honeymoon you might not be wanting to wear it very long anyway (teehee).
Are you serious?
It's not even 50 degrees here! A bathing suit is the last thing on my mind and I bet I couldn't find one if my life depended on it.
DO check online because you might be able to get priority shipping.
You're in Texas so I hope someone knows of a place locally for you.
Honey, I am so happy/jealous for you!!!!
I DREAM of going to the Bahamas for the warm weather and beautiful ocean waters.
If nothing else, I bet you can find a great suit when you get there.
Happy Honeymoom, Bahama Mama!
Target just put theirs out already! :)
Use Lands end with overnight shipping, much cheaper than everything but water and lands end has great quality stuff. Congratulations!
Target already has bathing suits.
Everything but Water in the local malls. I got one last season from them and love it!!
I also like to purchase one while on vacation, especially while at tropical locations!!!
Enjoy !!!
I actually have found new ones at Goodwill that I bought for my daughter. They still had the tags and saftey tape on them. It's "off season" here in AZ so lots of them to choose from, although not all are new, but several are. Just wanted to mention it in case you want to check it out. Good luck!
I just bought one for me and my daughter at costco
Actually, I've seen suits in Target recently. So go there. Or go to a sporting goods store.

Just did a quick google. Check out those 4 stores.
Lands End just had a ton on sale -- got a catalog 2 days ago.

They can overnight it (them!).
I can't speak for the women's section, but I know that Target here in El Paso has swim suits in the kids' section already. I think that may be a regional quirk, but you could do a check.
I really like Land's End, too. Just a recommendation if you order from there, order a few sizes in the one(s) you want so you be sure to get the right size. Returns are super easy at any Sears store.
There is an "Everything but Water" in Northpark!! I saw some in Target the other day, but the were itty bitty...very revealing.
A lot of places will put swim suits out because so many people make new years resolutions to lose weight. January has often been the best selling month for swimsuits due to nothing more than New Years resolutions so I'd call around and see if any sporting goods stores have any new ones they've just put out.
Also, you could find out if any local gymnastics/dance supply stores are in your area. I often buy 2 piece gymnastics outfits for my daughter to wear for a swim suit. They have halter tops, cheer briefs, all sorts of shorts that are very very short.
You could put something together for the trip but I'd also expect to buy at least one swim suit while gone just for fun.
Victoria Secret has swimsuits already. There are also some stores that carry them year round like Everything But Water. They have locations at Northpark Mall, Southlake Town center, Willow Bend, and Preston Park Village in Plano. Best wishes and God bless! Have a great Honeymoon!
Kohl's has bathing suits year-round. Also, a sport-equipment store should have some.
My local mall has a store called "Water Water Everywhere" that is open all year around. Google to see if you have one in your area.
Also, if you leave in 10 days you really do have time to order online! Just might need to do 2 day shipping or something. I love-love-love Land's End bathing suits and would totally recommend them to anyone. I think Sears also sells them, but not sure what they actually have in stores this time of year.
Why not wait until you get to your destination? I'm sure they will sell them on the cruise--though they might be pricier.
If you can't find one in stores here......
In the Bahamas! On the cruise ship!
I am SO jealous!!
Have fun
