I usually take my son to HydroHarvest Farms in Ruskin (not very far off of I-75). Their website is www.HydroHarvestFarms.com. They are a hydroponic farm and use no pesticides, so the kids can eat the berries right off the plant if desired. Also, the plants are perfect for every height since they are not planted into the ground, but rather in stacked "pots" (which would be great for you since you are expcting; no bending down to pick berries). The farm also grows many other types of produce- lettuce, herbs, tomatoes, blueberries, etc, they you can pick. They have been open for picking since November and, I believe, don't close for the season until June.
