I am delivering at Silver Cross in March. They do not offer Bella Baby photography, but I read on BB's website that they will come to the hospital on request. Has anyone ever done that (requested a visit to a hospital where they don't usually go)? I know they are a little pricey, but they sure do beautiful work.
I delivered at a hospital that had them come and they do awesome work. We purchsed the CD of pictures instead of buying them as pictures. Call them and see what they will do. They did not charge us a sitting fee since they automatically come to the hospital. If you call now, maybe by the time you deliver they could work something out with the hospital and they will be there.
I didnt know about bella baby when i had my babies but if i did i would have had them come to the hospital since they are willing to do it...congrats

I personally had a horrible experience with Bella...so I would advise that you beware. The photographer I worked with was only concerned about making a commission instead of providing quality work. If you do want to go with Bella, make sure you have a photographer recommended, as they are not all equal.

I delivered my second child at Edward Hospital, so Bella Baby was already set up there to take our pictures. But I just had to tell you that the pictures were so wonderful. I am very frugal by nature, and I think the pictures (not too expensive to just buy all the picture files on a CD) were well worth the money. I only wish they were around for my firstborn. If they are willing to come out to your hospital, I say go for it. They were in and out of my room in probably 10 minutes. Good luck with Baby #2!

I also delivered at Edward, so Bella Baby was on site. We only bought 2 prints from them, but we did buy the $110 (might have been $120) cd from them, so we have all the pics, and we own the rights to them. It was so nice because not only do we have GORGEOUS new born pics, but we had the legal right to post them to Snapfish so our family and friends in different states could LEGALLY print any pics they'd like. We were also able to choose a pic and use it on his Baptismal invites, since there we no issues with the copyrights. (Saves a lot of money to do birth announcements, etc on a site like www.TinyPrints.com than to have the photographer do them).
