P.K.
Otter box protects. To me that is first and foremost.
We have an ipad right now with an otter box and it is kind of bulky and heavy but I know the ipad is protected! Anyone have any other recommendations for one for an ipad mini that is good to have for the kids? Anyone have an I blason case?

We have otter boxes on our phones and on the kids ipods. My ipad has a military grade one, but it's not the same as otter box. It does the job though.
The kids are getting otter boxes with their ipads for Christmas. I'm not chancing breaking those things.
Here is a link to the case I have:

It's called a survivor case and it's not bulky and my 2yr old runs all over with my iPad with tons of drops, it was partially submerged, in fact I was crafting with all three of my boys and somehow my 2yr old grabbed it with his paint covered hands and it got covered! I popped the perfectly clean iPad out of the case, wiped the case down dried it off and it was good as new. So check it out :)
I have an Otter box on mine and for my iPhone too. They seem to be one of the better brands.
My daughter had a Nerf case for her iPod Touch - I'm sure they make them in iPad mini sizes. It was awesome. She's 7 so we have moved on from it to a cuter one.
I don't have an i-blason case, but that is the line I'm looking at for my daughter's ipad that she is getting. They seem to be good quality and half the price of the otterbox. We have an otterbox for her kindle fire and its so heavy!
