Best Nursing Bra?

The Bravado bras are the best! Soooo comfortable!!! I bought mine online - you can just Google for the best site/price.

I hated nursing bras.
What I did is just use a regular soft cup bra... with a nursing pad that I stuck in there... and when nursing I just pull the bra cup out of the way.

Or i just used sports bras... with those nursing pad inserted in there.

I found my favorite nursing bras at Nordstrom. Unfortunately, I can't remember the brand because I weaned over a year ago. But, the great thing about Nordstrom is that they will actually measure you because often your cup size is bigger than you think and your band size is smaller than you think. Their bras are kind of expensive but they are high quality. Good luck!

The most important thing is to make sure you have the right size - in my experience that makes all the difference for comfort. I was a C cup prior to baby, and I knew I was a bit bigger, but when I got measured by a pro at my hospital's baby boutique (had the best selection of nursing bras) I was a F cup...holy cow! I had no idea! Anyhow, I bought 3 underwire nursing bras from Anita (www.anita.com) for daytime. I needed a strap extender initially because with my baby weight I was in between a 36F and 38F, but they are super comfortable and the latches are sturdy and easy to manage one-handed. I also bought a bunch of nursing tanks from Target which are really great at night and when lazing around the house. Good luck!

Hands down, my choice is the Bravado Seamless Nursing Bra. It has a super comfy band under the cups, relatively easy to manage closures at the top of the cup and (my favorite) a removable foam pad built in that covers up your nipples (mine are huge now after having nursed 3 babes) and can catch a small leak. Google them, they are available lots of places, but Amazon does carry them.

Another Bravado fan. I get them at the hospital health supply store in my town, but you'll find them online if you search Bravado. They are kind of expensive, but when I figure I'm going to nurse for the next year it's totally worth it to be comfortable.

I have bought nursing bras from Wal-Mart, Target, and Motherhood Maternity. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on nursing bras but I finally did (at Motherhood Maternity) because the bras at Wal-Mart and Target just didn't last and they got very lumpy after a while. I am really glad I finally paid the money at MHM because those bras have lasted me so long and have been SO MUCH NICER... I don't have to deal with my breast looking lumpy. Do not get a underwire bra, it can cause mastitis.
Also, I prefer the sports bra looking bra at MHM that you lift the flap up for the opening rather than unsnapping from the top and pulling the flap down. Pulling the flap up is so much better if you wear t-shirts and other shirts that do not unbutton.

sold medela brand which are wonderful and inexpensive. Great bamboo nursing tanks too.
For a "luxury" bra, try the web retailer Bella materna. Gorgeous! And their customer service rocked. Can probably call and work w/someone on phone for sizing assistance. Their sports bra was a great investment.

There is a store called Hot Mama, they are in Deer Park, Glenview and a couple other locations. I got my favorite nursing bras there. I think they were around $50 but SOOOO worth it to have one or two.

My favorite nursing accessories were the Gilligan & O'Malley nursing tanks from Target--much better than the Liz Lange. Yes, they do give you uniboob, but I found them to be as supportive as I needed (I was more than a DD).

I also used Bravado but had some sort of reaction to their hardware parts where they touched my skin. Weird.

Let me just say Bravado! Absolutely, hands down, the best ones I have ever tried. I have 5 kids, and after trying the "cheaper" ones or ones from the dept stores such as walmart with little to no satisfaction, I was on a mission to find a bra that I loved. I have had several kinds from Bravado and even a couple nursing tanks too and I love them all! They are a bit more expensive, but worth every penny! You can just google Bravado nursing bras and you will get their websight. Also, make sure you follow the measuring guide... Good luck!

I liked the ones from Kohl's. I tried several before I found one that I really like. I then went back and bought more.

I know that JCP and sears has nursing bra's.

I found the best quality, most supportive bra that I have been using for 5 months. The brand is Anita - just google it and you should find a store that carries it. Hope that helps!
