Honda Odyssey is the best family car out there.

Be Cool!

Own an 8 seater that still has room for a stroller and groceries!

My Honda Odyssey isn't an SUV - but it fits 7 and we are comfy!!

You need to go to someplace like CARMAX WITH YOUR FAMILY and see what works for YOUR family and YOUR car seats.

We we first had kids, we had a Chevy Blazer - it was good - for ONE kid. NOT TWO. We bought a Dodge Grand Caravan and LOVED it. It was 11 years old when we traded it in for the Honda. Still have my Honda.

Was given a Toyota 4 runner for a rental. It fit the car seats just fine. It was drivable. It was a rental! It has the tow capacity we would need for our boat, and is spacious enough for kid stuff and suitcases if necessary. But I am a sedan lover and hated it because it was huge compared to my corolla. Our current boat tower is a 99 dodge ram extended cab. If I have to replace it I am going for a Nissan titan 4 door. Friends of mine have one and they love it

I don't know if this is considered an SUV because I don't personally own one, but friends of ours have these and I love traveling in them. Suburu Outbacks. My friends have car seats in them and they seem to have plenty of room.

They just seem like great vehicles overall and super comfortable. Rugged and yet good vehicles for moms taking kids to soccer, etc. too.

ETA: sorry - it's a wagon.

Two of my friends have the Nissan Pathfinders with kids and love them also.

I love my minivan - a Town & Country - I love the stow n go seats.
While not an SUV - it does everything I want it to do.
For some reason my husband feels a minivan is somehow a feminine vehicle and he likes his Pilot - but he's never had a car seat in it (our son outgrew them before Hubby got it).

I love my new Honda CRV! I haven't had car seats in there but have had full grown men back there and didn't have to move the front seats up at all (I'm very tall).

The Chevy Tahoe's look nice for a SUV, but I am all about a van with a family. The Chrysler Town and Country is a great van with stow and go seats and you still have a lot of trunk space. The sliding doors with kids is such an asset. You don't have to worry about them hitting other cars with a car door while exiting the car.

We love our Ford Explorer. It seats eight and has some cargo space. It gets good gas mileage for it’s size and the seats are comfortable. I like that I sit up higher, I like to be able to see the road! Hope you find the perfect vehicle for your family.
