I have a large bust and I really didn't notice ALL that much difference when I was expecting. Maybe it's the smaller ladies who have a dramatic change? No clue.
p.s. Beauty & the Beast?
Hi Folks!
I just saw a question about nursing bras and it got me thinking ("a dangerous passtime - I know"). I know the girls get bigger whne pregnant, but are there any Mom's out there who just felt they were too too big?
Seriously- I am a 40E (up from a 36 D) and I find them seriously annoying! Did anyone else have this issue?
And for bonus points - does anyone recognize the quote in parenthesis above? :)

I started out a 36DD, just tried to put on my 38DD this morning, and fell out of it. Luckily, I found a 40E way back in my drawer from my first pregnancy 5 years ago. I do remember that they got even bigger while breast feeding, too.
And OneAndDone is right, it is Beauty and the Beast. Gotta love to hate Gaston!
I am ordinarily a 36 quadD (g) or FF
((And yes. They're annoying in their normal size))
When my milk came in each of my breasts was Bigger. Than. My. Head.
We weighed them, and I forget the exact numbers at this point... But one was upper 20's, and one was low 30s. Yup. 60 freakin pounds hanging off me.
Fortunately they went down to a J/K size after a week. I had to wear 2 parkas... Front and back.. To go out in public. Plus lugging a 10lb baby in a million pound carrier.
So. Yes. Too big.
My boobs didn't change at all. I never had any pain, growth, never had to buy new bras. Nothing. (They didn't produce a drop of milk, either. I have no idea if that's related.) I am SOO glad mine didn't get bigger!! I am a 30 D-DD, and I weigh 100 pounds pre and post pregnancy. I did gain during pregnancy, but it was all belly and not much. I would have looked and felt so ridiculous. I'd love to get a reduction some day!
I am a cardholding member of the itty-bitty-titty-committe. My poor little girls have always been pretty nonexistent. I was ECSTATIC when I was nursing, and they grew to a b-cup!!! lol. The only annoying part was that Hubby couldn't really enjoy them without getting a squirt in the eye. lol.
Aaaand, of course, they had to shrink back down to nothingness when my DD weaned. :(
I but much larger when I was pregnant the first time and then even larger the second time and I don't think they really shank. My husband does not complain much but my lower back does a lot. If my gut did not stick out so much I would have them reduced as they are annoying but I would rather then stick out further.
And yes thinking can be very dangerous sometimes. :)
At least you stayed a common size. Just my cup size kept enlarging, so it was extremely difficult to get bras. I went from a 34C to a 34E and couldn't wait to get back down since I was running out of options.
I went from a B cup to DD! OMG! Way too big! LOL!
Luckily, it didn't last long after I stopped breastfeeding.
I find my boobs annoying ALL the time and particularly so now!! I am normally a US size 8-10 with a 32G bust....this pregnancy I have gone up to an H cup...(H for humongous/heavy/horrible) I have been suffering such back ache and nearly knocked out the woman who fitted me for my one and only pregnancy bra I bought (as they cost a fortune in that size!) when she said, "gosh you are so full, you are just going to be all boob when your milk comes in" Grrrr!!!
Anyway, this is my third and final pregnancy, I have suffered a hate, hate relationship with my boobs since I had to start wearing a bra at the age of nine....I have asked my hubby if we could please, please save for me to have a reduction as a fortieth birthday gift (3 years away) and he has said yes...because he sees how miserable I get over them!!
So...yes, I feel mine are way too big! I also found nursing my other two children was quite hard...although I manged for nine months with each. But, also...ladies of larger busts have you found maternity clothes difficult to buy...I mean what is it about all the nice looking tops...there A) isn't enough room for your boobs or/and B) they are so low cut...I do not want them hanging out for all to see?!?! And well...the swimming costumes...lets not even go there!!
I know that my breasts really got on my nerves with my first pregnancy. It's something natural that you just have to live with, especially if you plan on nursing your baby.
Yup, I immediately knew that it was a reference to my favorite movie--Beauty and the Beast!!! ("...But that wacky old coot is Belle's father, and his sanity's only so-so...." Yep, I do ALL the voices, too.)
Also, since I'm here.... My boobs didn't really grow. They are just a little fuller. Instead of being 34H-I, I'm more on the I side.
Gaston! LOL!
I get up to that size too and yes, they are annoying. I also had a hard time figuring out my new sizes (I gained 80 lbs). In fact, before ever being pregnant I was a 34F until I had a breast reduction ay 18...
I am always a 32 c or 34 b-however...that changes at about week 14 in pregnancy. They are currently 36 E and my bras are so snug that they leave indentations on the twins-I still have 8 weeks to go in my pregnancy and they are showing no sign of slowing down:) They hurt my back and I have a roadmap of veins standing out all over them...But(!) my husband LOVES them:)
the quote was from Beauty and the Beast Gastone (sp) and as for the tata's holy boobzilla try going from a 40DDD to a whopping 40F. I swear I felt like I was going to be sufficated by my own milk makers. I was so happy when they finally went back down to the 3D. I so want to have a reduction, but I am waiting until I have #2 or if that never happens #1 is older.
