I had a biopsy today with this red area that is on my head. My doctor thinks it is Lymphocytic Infiltrate or a Boyle. So I will get the test results back in I hope a week. He told me more like 2 weeks to determine if it is bi-nine or cancerous. I hope to get some good news back. Keep me in your prayers. I was wanting to know if anyone has had this before. If there is anyone out there that has had this please let me know. Hope all is great with everyone. Wish me luck!

So What Happened?

Ladies the results are in!

Thanks so much for all of your well needed prayers they are all well deserved and appreciated. I just got the results yesterday after three weeks of waiting and lots of call to the dermatologist. It is benin! I am so happy with the results. It is lymphocytic infiltrate what the dermatologist told me it was when I went in for the biopsy. I have to go into my regular doctor and get some blood work done, an evaluation done, and some other health tests done. Also I need to go into the dermatologist so he can get a shot to it and hopefully go on with my life. So I am hoping there is nothing else they find wrong. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming with the rest of my tests that have to be done. I hope everyone is doing well and take care! Have a wonderful day!

I got a call on Thursday and the dermatologist told me they do not know what it is. He wanted to prepare me that it could be cancerous and it also could be benine. They are unusual cells. They are doing more tests and should hopefully know next week. I am kind of worried after the call, but after a couple of days I am preparing myself for anything. Please keep me in your prayers, please and thanks!

I will let you know!

I have not had anything like this happen to me, but I wanted to extend my prayers to you. I will add you to the prayer chain at church. Keep your chin up! Don't "expect" the negative to be the result. Think positive... and if the result doesn't turn out the way you want, then we pray a little harder and thank God that it was brought to your attention in time to heal it. There is always a positive to every negative. My favorite quote:
You can complain that roses have thorns, or you can Rejoice that thorns have roses.

My only personal experience is about at the same place yours is. My husband is going into the doctor today to have an egg sized lump on his hip examined and have a biopsy preformed. Like you, it could be nothing or it could be a cancerous issue such as a soft tissue sarcoma. We won’t know until we find out. And I guess we’re just taking it moment by moment, not getting too consumed by the possible negative outcome. We’re very blessed to have medical coverage that allows us go to the doctor and have the procedure done without worrying about how to pay for it. We’re also very blessed to know we have support of family and friends if needed. I trust and hope that you are in the same situation. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My husband and I have been together for 15 years, married for 10 and have a wonderful boy who is about to turn 1. We also have a baby on the way, due in June.

I have had a couple breast biopsies. The hardest part is the wait. It seems to take forever. Try (even tho I know it will be on your mind) not thinking about it too much. The first time I had to have one done I had a panic attack for the first time ever. The said it was stress related. In the end it was benine, but it didn't make the waiting any easier. Try and keep busy. You will be in my prayers.
