You might try checking with the Knights of Columbus (that;s where my brother's troop had theirs. Or maybe the VFW or a Mason/Daughter of the Eastern Star Hall.
Okay Cub Scout moms...I have volunteered to help find a location to hold our Blue & Gold banquet in February. In the past we have had it at a gymnastics gym that requires we use their kitchen. Let's just say, the food is not the best and the space is not private. Typically, it is held on a Friday night and most gyms have a parents night out, so we have alot of onlookers for 3 hours.
Where have you held your Blue & Gold? And if anyone knows of a great location to hold a banquet for less than 100 people, let me know. Low cost but great flavor catering would be nice to know too.

Flower Mound High School..... but you could try any high-school.
We usually hold ours in a church banquet hall.

If you have a community center nearby, that may be a possiblity. Church gyms or family centers. Also, check out an elementary school. If anyone involved has an affiliation (teacher, etc.) with the school, they may be allowed to use the cafeteria or gym. Where is your den sponsored through? Is it a school or church? If so, they should allow you to use their facilities.
Our troop often used a school. A church with a rec hall is also possible. Who is your sponsor? Maybe they have a place.
My suggestion isn't any different than what you've already gotten. We had ours in a church fellowship hall. It was catered by a local resturant.

We always held our Blue & Gold banquet at the Elementary School. The school was our charter sponsor and the Principal approved. As for the food, we've done it a couple different ways. If we had money in the budget, we provided the main dish, such as spaghetti and had each den bring different sides or we catered. Some years we just had potluck with the different ranks assigned food items to bring. For example, the Tigers would bring salad, the Wolves and Bears would bring the meats and vegetables and the Webelos the dessert. We adopted that route after our oldest joined Boy Scouts and saw the way they handled theirs. The school cafeteria manager would let us use the kitchen if needed for ice for the drinks and for serving also. Let me know if you have any other questions. My husband and I led Scouts for about 10 years and have learned quite a lot.
Good luck,
