LOVE IT - Do it ever 6 weeks (I used to go in every 4 weeks, but with 2 kids it's just too hard to get in that often).
Worth every penny to me!

I posted this question a few weeks back - was debating doing it - but went ahead.

i love the way it feels. but - it's a bit disconcerting to have NO pubic hair - so next time I'll keep the hitler stach...lol...

It didn't hurt that bad but it is NOT for the modest - you have to get in some weird poses to get all that hair...lol

Yes! And if you are in the Dallas area I recommend W.O.W (we only wax). That's all they do so you know they are good at it! I go to Kelly and she is awesome.

Take some advil or have a glass of wine and get it done. Why not. It's not like the pain is there for days. Only for 20 seconds per pull.

Enjoy wearing your bathing suit!!

I have it done every 4 weeks and so worth it. If you get someone good, they are done is 5 mins or less. Sure, it's not the best thing to have done, but I would pick that over the dentist ;)

They say it's best to go 2-4 days after your cycle is complete. And buy a product called No Bumps (from a beauty supply) to apply for a few days after….this will prevent in grown hairs.

I started getting "sugared" almost a year ago, which is similar to waxing, but a little more gentle because the hair is pulled out in the same direction. It is also a speedier procedure. About a week and a half ago, I couldn't get in for a sugar, so I had a wax. It was not unbearable, but I prefer the sugar. The sugar also leaves your skin unbelievable soft and touchable. It improved sensation for me too.For me, it was worth it.

Well if you are asking then you should try it at least once.

I get them (and maintain them) as long as I have the money for them. The brazillian part hurts LESS than the bikini line part, but is more "insulting" / weird feeling. You're gonna do wha? To my wha-wha? Absolutely love and adore them, just don't have the cash, presently.

If you don't currently trim, trim ahead of time so the hair is about 1/2 inch long. Longer and you don't get clean pulls.

If you are in a bathing suit all the time in the summer, then yes. I am sorry, that is too much pain for me personally. I have had my legs waxed and that hurt a lot. I would say try it once and find out how the results are for you. Everyone's hair grows back at different rates or speeds. I think to do it is the way to find out if it is worth it for you.

It is really what you prefer. Do you want the hair or not? There is some pain involved either way. It doesn't take that much longer to take all the hair off, if that is what you want. Most waxers are aware of the pain and try to do their best to not make it last too long :) Where I go, they use a hard wax that is put onto the area, then hardens, then they pull the wax up (i.e.- no paper) and it is much gentler on the skin and doesn't leave red marks or bruising. Look around and find out what products the salons are using.
