get a tube of choc chip cookie dough and a box mix for brownies. Make the brownie mix. Put some of the cookie dough on the bottom of each muffin tin, then an oreo cookie, then top with a spoon of brownie mix. Bake as instructed on the cookie package. So good! Good luck!

Be glad you were invited and make something!
- 7 layer dip (salsa, cheese, refried beans, chilis, sour cream, guacamole, etc) there must be another layer?! and a bag of tortillas, either bring it already hot or put in the microwave once you arrive.
- spinach dip (use Knorrs mix) in a hollowed out round bread and bagel chips / crackers
- vegetable crudites with dip
- fruit salad (extra points to serve in a hollowed out watermelon)
- greek salad (dressing on the side)
- pasta salad (make dressing with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, salt & pepper or a creamy option: ranch dressing) then chop up all kinds of stuff that's in your produce drawer - peppers, tomatoes, onions, celery, peas, brocoli florets, etc - add some pepperoni, cubes of cheese or ham, or chicken, and you're good to go.

There are so very many easy dishes to bring I'm sure you can find something!

A cut veggie tray (usually with a container of ranch dip) from the store is my go-to contribution for a picnic/potluck when I don't have time to make anything. The veggies always are appreciated, and the assortment always includes several which are popular and nutritious.

Cucumber salad is always a hit.
2-3 large cukes, peeled and cut up
1 16 oz sour cream
3 cloved garlic minced
lemon juice
salt
mix sour cream, garlic, lemon juice to taste (couple tablespoons usually tastes right to me), salt to taste.
Gently fold into cukes and chill.

Stop at the deli and get potato salad or pasta salad.
Or take popsicles in a cooler with ice.
Or an angel food cake and strawberries.

Go buy a couple of bags of those little ice cream cups.
If you put them on ice right away they should stay frozen long enough to be enjoyed.
Easy, and most people will indulge.
Dont forget the little wooden spoons to go with.

Bring Dirt Cake! Its awesome. You crush the oreos & put half on the bottom, vanilla icecream on top of that, chocolate syrup and top with oreos! Some people put gummy worms on there too if there is going to be kiddos around. Have fun at your picnics!

7-up salad
Super easy and always a hit
1 large lime jello pkg
1 can 7-Up
1 large pk. minature marshmallows
Boil the above on stove top

I 8 oz pk softened cream cheese
1 container coolwhip
cream the above in mixing bowl.

Pour hot mixture into cream cheese and coolwhip with beater on low...
finally add 1 undrained can of crushed pineapple to the mixture
and freeze in mold (or alunimum throw away pan is fine) until firm and then put in fridge until ready to serve
.
a handful of Walnuts optional. I love em but some people don't~ it's your call.
Always a hit! You can also whip your own whipped cream if you don't like coolwhip also my grandma's recipe included a cup of mayo but I have left that out for years and no one knows the difference!

Stop at your local deli and pick up a couple of pounds of whatever looks good. If you want to fake it take it home and put it in one of your bowls.

Have fun!!!!

You could do the dirt cake in a new plastic sand bucket, put gummy worms on top, coming out of the dirt.

I like to make a fresh fruit or fresh veggie tray. I make a special dip for the veggie tray. You can buy these premade if you like. I enjoy the prep so I usually make my own.

I made jello shots (minus the alcohol) for my son's grad party yesterday. I got a lot of comments about what I should have put in them, but they were a big hit.
