What would you serve for a ladies' brunch? It will be just 4 of us gals. We are planning on having a quiche and some sort of pastry but not sure what else would go with those.

What can I do next?

Some type of sandwiches - wraps or rolled sandwiches, any type of salad, devilled eggs.. Have fun!

With quiche I've served arugala, endive, Parmesan salad with balsamic. You can add pear or bacon. It works well with quiche.

Fruit -- not doctored -- if you want to serve a dip with it have it on the side.

Coffee, tea, juice, water -- maybe a nice crusty French Bread w/butter for those who don't want pastry.

I like to serve fresh fruit like melon, grapes, pineapple, apple, blueberries and strawberries.
A batch of fresh baked muffins is always nice, too, especially the mini ones (carrot, cinnamon streusel, banana, etc.)
Don't forget the mimosas! =)

Fruit or yogurt would be nice. You could do some waffles or baked french toast. For only four people I might just whip up some waffles. You could do from scratch or a mix. Target and Trader Joe's have really yummy ones! I like sausage at brunch but only cuz I don't make it normally, but if you have meat in the quiche it might be okay. My family (not me, though, yuck) LOVES chicken livers. Seriously, my mom, brother, cousins, they all go crazy for them. My family just cleans them (you can find them in the chicken section of your grocery store) by rinsing and trimming, if needed, and then pan frying in butter, salt, pepper and a little bit of oregano. You could try it, every time I make them or my mom makes them the bowl is empty!

#1 on my list would be Mimosas and Tulips (cranberry juice instead of OJ)

I've never liked eggs so it is hard for me to find a good brunch recipe without eggs but a few years ago, I did it... It is Texas Brunch Casserole and made with creamed corn vs eggs and served with jalapeno's. If interested, PM me.

Another thing that is good for guests. Baked oatmeal. I hate oatmeal. BUT... we stayed at a bed an breakfast once in the Amish country in PA and the lady served this most delicious treat for breakfast. Again, PM me if you want the recipe.

Of course a fresh fruit tray would be nice as well

fruit is the first thing that comes to mind.

What type of quiche? If it doesn't contain ham, you may want to have ham. If it doesn't include veggies, you can have a salad, or a veggie platter.
