my daughter and her cousin were dumping bubbles on the porch the other day, so i just mixed dish soap and water for them... and it was making good bubbles. didn't even bother with the glycerin!!!
I bought a bubble machine for summer fun! We used all the bubbles it came with and now I look at wal-mart and these bubbles seem too pricey. I have tried some of the online recipes and have wasted tons of dish soap and glycerin and they just pop instead of forming bubbles. Does anyone else have a bubble machine that they have made the solution for?
Thanks in advance....my kids will love you for this!

I have had the best success with homemade bubbles- using corn syrup. Probably the only good thing about high fructose corn syrup. BUT I have not used it in a bubble machine.
I too have tried and discovered it works best with the "pricy" bubbles. Don't try the wal mart brand, will only gunk up your machine and not make bubbles either.
Dawn dishwashing liquid was always a winner. That or call the manufacturer for suggestions...
Just go to the Dollar Tree and buy the big bottles of bubbles for a dollar. My niece said they work great...
