Some may know I recently purchased a treadmill and have started an exercise regiman to help lose the last of the baby weight. I had already had a pair of saucany tennis shoes and seemed like they were doing the job till this week. My ankles and knees are killing me (also other reasons for them hurting not just from exercising). So hubby knew I didn't want to get behind on my exerices and he gave me part of his budget money (our extra fun money we each have for the week) and told me to go get a good pair of tennies for myself. Ahhh, so sweet! Just got me thinking how much I love him and glad we chose eachother, lol.
Can you list 5 great things about your husband?
Mine are:
1 - Always makes sure others are taken care of before himself
2 - LOVES to cook and cooks for us, not just himself
3 - Dedicated to his family and does whatever is needed for us
4 - He is hilarious - even when he is being a smart a$$
5 - He loves his children and playing with his kids and making them his priority when he is home
1-he has accepted me and my crazy family and loves us even though we are on a whole different "class" than his family
2-he never fails to make my mom laugh so hard that she almost pees her pants
3-he likes to mow the lawn without a shirt on, raaarrrr
4-he is nothing like his father. This is HUGE for him. His family was traditional in the fact that his mom did all the child-rearing and all the household tasks, even though she always worked full time. His dad is extremely lazy, spoiled and inconsiderate of his wife. My husband decided a long time ago that he wanted to be a better father than that, and he is. He calls me every day before he leaves work to see if I will need a break when he gets home (i stay home with the kids), and if I say "yes" he will bring home dinner and push me out the door while he feeds and plays with the kids. And he will bring me a bottle of wine and/or ice cream for after bedtime :)
5- He is my Chase, and he is the most lovely and wonderful man I have ever met in my life

Ya know I could until you asked. :p
In no particular order.
He brews good beer and doesn't complain when I drink the whole keg before he can bottle. (it is not my fault he is slow to bottle)
He plays with the kids no matter how tired he is and doesn't seem to mind Genna using him as a climbing toy.
He will clean without asking.
He cooks because he loves to.
He points out when I am being irrational without being mean about it.

1. My husband is a Christian who walks the walk, not just talks the talk!
2. For a burly Marine, he is super sweet and sensitive with our son. He prays with him every night before bed.
3. He is fiscally smart. My husband takes his role as provider VERY seriously. He works so hard, works a ton of OT, when available, is a whiz with money and budgeting and planning.
4. He is funny. Now, mind you, not daily haha funny but a few times er year he just busts my gut! I've always been a sucker for funny guys.
5. He's HOT and does housework!
Do I have to stop at 5? LOL

1. He lives and breathes for me. Which sounds great...and is. I sometimes have to remind him though...That he is my partner...and I want him to put himself before me sometimes...no, alot of times.
2. He truly wants what is best for his kids. I know this seems like a no brainer. Dont all dads want this? I sometimes dont see how he parents as effective...but them when I see a situation he is handling unfold and see the out come...it can be amazing...and although it is not what I would have done...it was different and it got results.
3. He is just a gigantic kid on the inside. He was subject to a miserable divorce when he was 10. it was nasty. I dont think he ever really matured in someways pasted that point. I think it is cool to watch him with his kids..knowing we are a secure couple...it is almost like he is reliving his youth...to erase the bad memories and in place have ours.
4. He is genuine. What you see is what you get. If you respect him. His home and his life...he will give you the world. do anything for you.

1- He has the same warped sense of humor I have, and will stop at NOTHING to make me laugh when I'm bummed (like running around in tighty whiteys and church socks, LOL!! He knows no shame!)
2- He's an excellent father. He can bring himself down to the kids level to teach him some thing's that frustrate me, like fishing, bike riding, and swimming to name a few.
3- He's devilishly handsome and VERY generous in bed (hey, you asked!!)
4- He kills bugs for me :)
5- He's WICKED smart and has an excellent memory (when he wants to have one! Can't remember to take out the garbage, but knows where we ate for the kids birthdays the past 4 years and KNOWS their birthdays, more than I can say about MY dad, LOL!)

What a great post and sounds like you have a great and supportive hubby :-). I, too, am blessed with a big-hearted hubby.
Here is why:
1.) He, too, is chief cook. This is evidenced in him cooking separate vegetarian dishes for me, and also pancakes and French Toast for DD, who gobbles them up with glee.
2.) DD asks for him when he's not around. This means Daddy is one of her most favorite people (this week!), the fun one who breaks her bedtime :-) to spend more time with her.
3.) He is thoughtful and always remembers the littlest things.
4.) He wants what's best for our family
5.) I am his wife :-) and he is my daughter's daddy

1- I never have to justify money spending...who I spent it on, where it went, what I bought. We don't have much money AT ALL but he trusts that I will spend wisely. I don't even have to ask.
2 - He is a good lover
3- He plays with my boys...soccer, wrestling, beyblades, bakugans, cars, trains, whatever.
4 - He loves my family and will help them with whatever they need. House painted, yard work, stain the deck, hang Christmas lights...whatever...he will do it.
5-He works hard. He knows that his responsability is to provide for the family we wanted and he is always looking for more work. He has a full time job and then does tons of sidework. While I sometimes resent the amount that he works I know that he is doing it to take care of us.
