I took my girls to Campus Preschool for 6 years, and we loved it. The directors and the staff are great. They truly became part of our family. It's inside John Knox church...right behind The Strip on Frank Avenue.
When my oldest started school, I moved them to a center in our school district. It's called All About Childrens, and it's near the new Fishers in North Canton. We love it there, too. The teachers are all certified, and their preschool program is terrific. And it's a beautiful, cheerful environment. There is another All About Childrens on Frank Ave. I've never been to that center, but it might be worth checking out. Both are owned by the same person.
Visit some centers unannounced, and ask for a tour. It's a good idea to call ahead, and see when the Director will be onsite, but don't make an appointment. Just show up.
There is a great book called "How to Find the Best Quality Childcare". It's available at Borders. It provides great advice on what to look for, and what to avoid.
My best advice to you is that you will know the right center when you see it. It will just feel comfortable. The centers I mentioned were great for our family, but your needs may be different. Spend an afternoon visiting centers, and you will be able to quickly narrow the list to just a few.
Good luck! The right preschool program will provide so many benefits for your son.
