A couple things:
Have you listed it in the FREE section of Craigs List? I've never had stuff stay long after listing in the free section.
Same with FREECYCLE - listings for free stuff
Call Goodwill or Salvation Army about donation pick-up.
I live in the Pittsburg, CA area and wanted to know if any of you know a donation place that will come pick up used furniture. I am trying to make life a little simpler and am going to buy my son a small TV stand instead of the two drawer, cabinet dresser that we currently have in there. I don't want to have to deliver it anywhere. We have listed it on Craig's List with some interest (our BBQ pit went fast when we listed it on there) and there is plenty of interest but no one actually comes to pick it up. At this point, I would like a donation place to come pick it up. Let me know if you know of any. Thanks.

If Craig's List didn't work, try www.freecycle.org. People post offered and wanted items all the time and everything is free. A dresser would surely be picked up immediately. There are many organizations that check freecycle, as well as individuals that truly need things. I know there is a group in Concord, probably one out your way too.
You can try the Salvation Army (http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/www_usn_2.nsf/vw-dyna...)
Or CARH (http://www.carh.org/)
If neither of those work, putting on your curb will probably work. My neighbor always puts things out and they're gone in a day or two.
Try leaving it out on the curb, I bet someone picks it up :)
