Childcare in "Emergency" Situations

I can sympathize, since my 5 year old also has disabilities with medical issues. Have you made friends with any neighbors that could help you out? I am not sure where in Kenosha you are, but I am about 15 minutes west of Kenosha. I stay at home with my children, so if you ever needed someone in a pinch, I'd be willing to help you out. I personally, do not know of any agencies, since it is rare that anyone other than Grandma and Grandpa take care of my kids. And even that is not very often :-)! My heart goes out to you. It's really tough to have to drag a toddler along with you when you're taking an older child to the emergency room. I don't know of any agencies, but I have also wondered about this since we have no support network here either and I have a toddler and an 8-year-old. Luckily it's never happened, but I found myself thinking, what if I had to take my husband to the emergency room at some point (I had to take him in once while I was pregnant because he fell and gashed his hand).
